And Then, There Was Sweat...

It wasn't fast, and the distance barely qualifies as having done anything at all. But, I'm qualifying it.

I was at the gym during lunch, doing a very thorough core strength workout. Limbering up my tired body and mind. Sturdying up my weak and wonky knees so they'll be ready to run this weekend.

Wishing for sweat. Praying for some endorphins to wash over me.

Is it just me, or are those things kind of like crack? I mean. What I would imagine crack to be like, of course. Illicit drugs just aren't my thing. I just think it'd be too difficult to run, eat, and smoke crack at the same time.

Then, I had an epiphany...

I would make myself sweat!

For the first time in almost 2 weeks!

Brilliant!

After working out my wonky knees, I hopped on the treadmill for about 15 minutes. I spent those glorious 15 minutes doing sprint/walk repeats, and proceeded to sweat like it was my job.

It felt so great!

I was basking in the rush of endorphins all the way back to work. So happy to have sweat like a man, even if for only a short time.

Then, when I returned to my office, it occurred to me that I was completely unprepared to fuel my sweaty body. I have several random leftover things in my fridge, but nothing that really "matched" or made a proper lunch.

I'm hungry, and this is just not going to cut it.

Meh.

Could someone please courier me a sensible, healthy lunch?

Please?

What do you do when you're in this situation?
